They are seeking a dynamic and experienced forklift professional who is willing to get their hands dirty and join the team as Branch Manager and help them continue their growth and success.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of forklifts, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and manage branch performance, including financial metrics, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other branches and departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and maintain effective processes and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to achieve sales and service targets.

The role and the requirements

  • A relevant automotive trade qualification.
  • Proven experience in forklift maintenance and repair, with a strong technical background.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the material handling or related industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the maintenance and repair of forklifts.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for managing branch operations.
