The first steps
Submit your employment application to Automotive Employment NZ. If you are on desktop computer, laptop, or tablet, click on the logo icons on the right hand of your screen. If you are on a mobile device, click the 3 lines on the top right hand side of your screen and these same buttons will appear in the menu.
You can register your interest quickly from there by creating an account and subsequently registering for job alerts. Alternatively visit our Job Board and apply for roles of interest. If you already have a job, simply move to step 2
At the same time, you should request a pathway assessment from our in-house Licensed Immigration Adviser. There is a cost to this, but it is minimal. Contact our Principal Licensed Immigration Adviser, Vanessa Godbaz to obtain a quotation
The pathway assessment is a formal assessment completed by our qualified Licensed Immigration Adviser. Here the adviser explores every aspect of your background to ensure there is a pathway to successfully achieving visas and/or residency. The adviser provides a written report highlighting the type of employment you need and what the pathway to residency is
After your pathway assessment the Licensed Immigration Adviser then advises all the documents you require to be document ready. Do not understate the complexity of this process, you will need immigration advice
Once you have all your documents in place you become what is commonly known as ‘document ready’. This elevates your employability tenfold. Why? When you secure a job offer the employer will expect you to commence employment as soon as possible, usually within 8 to 12 weeks from the offer date. This is simply not possible if you are not already document ready
Most skilled migrants in the motor industry will need a job offer to proceed past this point. If you are using the in-house Licensed Immigration Advisers employed by either Automotive Employment NZ or our parent company Jobcorp, there are no fees payable to us until we are ready to lodge your visa
How do I obtain the cost of your entire immigration services including Visas and Residency Visas? This is as simple. Once again, contact our Principal Licensed Immigration Adviser, Vanessa Godbaz for our professional fees.
Please note: When you use Automotive Employment NZ or Jobcorp to obtain licensed immigration advice and processing services you only ever pay for the services you have obtained. There is protection for you in this philosophy. If, for some reason, you cannot attain a job offer, any costs to you are minimal. This compares favourably against some larger immigration agents where most fees are chargeable up front.
Our company employs Licensed Immigration Advisers specifically to protect our job seekers and to be positioned to provide cost effective services.
Are your immigration services available to everyone or just Automotive Employment and Jobcorp candidates?
Many of our immigration clients are either job seekers of Automotive Employment NZ or Jobcorp. Referrals from our job seekers to other skilled migrants have, however, now become so common that we have made our services available on the same terms to everyone, whether or not we have assisted them in obtaining a job offer.
