The company offers top-quality services and products to their clients and they are looking for a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to join the team and lead their workshop operations in Hamilton.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled technicians and apprentices.
  • Ensure all air-conditioning and auto electrical systems are serviced and repaired to the highest standards.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary parts and tools.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and customer details.



In return

  • 6 figure salary and benefits package - final pay will depend on experience but will range between $100,000 and $115,000 per annum.

The role and the requirements

  • A relevant automotive trade qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the auto electrical and air-conditioning industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of auto electrical and air-conditioning systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints and inquiries professionally.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant industry certifications and licenses are preferred.
