We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead the service department for a top franchise truck dealership in the beautiful Hamilton area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the service department team including technicians, service advisors, and support staff
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of all service activities and prepare regular reports for senior management



Skills sought

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar leadership role within a truck dealership or automotive service environment
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyse and improve service processes and performance
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
