We are currently seeking skilled Wheel Alignment Technicians to join this employer's expanding business throughout Auckland.
Responsibilities within the role
- Perform wheel alignment services on a variety of vehicles, ensuring proper camber, caster, and toe angles are set to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect and assess the condition of suspension and steering components, including tie rods, shocks, ball joints, and bushings
- Diagnose issues related to misalignment and tire wear patterns, providing appropriate repair recommendations
- Utilise advanced alignment equipment to perform precise adjustments, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Keep alignment tools and machines in optimal condition through regular calibration and maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and the service team about the condition of the vehicle, alignment needs, and any other potential issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Wheel Alignment Technician or in a similar automotive repair role
- Strong understanding of vehicle suspension and steering systems
- Ability to operate modern wheel alignment machines and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Physical capability to lift and move equipment, bend, and work in tight spaces
