As a Light Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. You will work with a team of professionals committed to delivering top-notch customer service and quality workmanship.

The role
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and complex repairs on passenger vehicles
- Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicle models
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform warranty and recall repairs as per manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support
- Collaborate with colleagues to efficiently solve technical challenges
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used
Skills sought
- Trade qualification as a Light Automotive Technician (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with a franchise dealership brand (preferred)
- Solid experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Able to work to deadlines
- A genuine enthusiasm for automobiles and a desire to stay updated on industry trends
- A focus on high standards of customer service
