A unique and enticing role
The facility is home to a classic and custom vehicle operation the likes of which New Zealand has never seen. You will work alongside the designers, other highly skilled craftsmen in the wider business operations.

The facility is as impressive and unique as the most elite vehicle operations in New Zealand and will soon be expanded further. The rare classic vintage nears completion. Next is the custom American Pro Touring vehicle with no less than 1000hp; this one went through an elite restoration and custom modification. There is a line-up of rebuilds and restorations In this facility that are jaw dropping in scale. This is a special vehicles operation of the likes many New Zealander's have never seen.


The skills and attributes we are seeking are also not the norm
Skills required are at upper craftsman's levels. Specific focus is on vehicle fabrication, panel beating, and performance vehicle maintenance and repair.

You will be undertaking restorations, fabrication, rebuilds, involved in high end repowering and work on vintage British and American modified customs that comprise an extensive collection.

  • High level mechanical knowledge is also required and other skills in the automotive market being brought to the table would also be helpful
  • Fabrication, milling, lathe, welding, and assembly work experience are all a must- to the heist standards
  • Can work autonomously
  • Understanding of modern power plants such as LS, Ford, powered engines, rotaries, and more
  • Ability to maintain a model working environment with impeccable standards
  • Current passport and driver's license
  • No criminal convictions
  • References and photographic examples showing high quality work you have been involved in are a must

Apart from the obvious on tools part of the role, you will also be involved in planning, sourcing parts, and negotiations, as well as organising insurances, compliance certification, WOF, and repairs

We are looking for a warm, down to earth person. This is not a role that will suit an impatient, abrupt, or argumentative personality. The client is seeking a person who provides a service and is able to impress not only with the quality of workmanship but so too the work ethic to ensure the employer gains exceptional service and productivity.
