We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Service Advisor / Warranty Clerk to join this aftersales team and ensure the smooth processing of warranty claims and exceptional customer service.


The role
As a Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between customers and the service team, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. You will be responsible for providing expert advice, coordinating vehicle servicing, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties and accountabilities:

• Greet customers and assess their service needs
• Provide accurate information on vehicle maintenance and repair services
• Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations
• Liaise with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service completion
• Communicate service progress and costs to customers
• Upsell additional services and maintenance when appropriate
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure accurate invoicing
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
• Accurately process warranty claims in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Verify warranty coverage and liaise with technicians to gather necessary documentation
• Submit, track, and follow up on claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Maintain detailed records of all warranty transactions
• Communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers regarding warranty matters

The skills and experience sought

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor / Warranty Clerk or in a similar, customer-facing role in the automotive industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
• A current, clean driver's license
• Solid knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes and policies
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proficiency in dealership management software (e.g., Kerridge, CDK, Pinnacle, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
