About the employer
Located in the heart of Hamilton's farming sector is a long-established retail outlet with a commanding location. The facility is a busy dealership representing leading brands, and the team is professional and friendly.


The role

• This is a role for an experienced and/or qualified diesel mechanic with agricultural experience
• You will need to carry out mechanical repairs, general servicing and maintenance, and be able to fault find and diagnose technical issues on the equipment and vehicles
• Deal with customers and explain mechanical repairs
• The role is primarily workshop based with a lesser content of field service work
• The is a full time role and offers 40 hours per week with occasional overtime

The skills needed

• Relevant automotive industry trade qualification plus experience on agricultural equipment
• You will need previous experience performing servicing and repairs on the related vehicles and equipment including farm vehicles and tractors
• Good technical and communication skills are needed along with previous relevant experience outlined
