We are currently recruiting for a motivated and sales driven Vehicle salesperson for a busy dealership in Napier. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager where the role will involve a mix of leadership, sales strategy, and the ability to sell, enabling you to earn a generous commission whilst earning a solid base plus other benefits too.

The dealership has over 100 vehicles in stock enabling you to earn commission right away. The dealership has a fantastic support team to assist the sales team with their administrative duties and has a dynamic marketing team ensuring dominance and brand dominance in the area.


Responsibilities within this role

  • Deal with all incoming leads
  • Vehicle sales and successful achievement of KPIs
  • Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, handle enquiries, and resolve any issues that arise during the buying process
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions tailored to the local market
  • Assist in managing vehicle inventory ensuring that the dealership has the right mix of vehicles to meet customer demand



Requirements for the role

  • A background in automotive sales would be advantageous though we would consider applicants with experience in other relevant industries
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and collaborating with the sales team
  • Positive attitude and self motivated with a hunger for success
  • Professional acumen with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Quick and effective resolution of customer issues and sales challenges
